Acceptable Use

By using ClauseGuard, you agree not to:

  • Upload malicious, illegal, or harmful content
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models or algorithms
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense analysis reports
  • Use the service to generate spam or misleading legal documents

Payments & Refunds

Full report unlocks are one-time purchases per contract analysis, currently priced at $9 USD. Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our merchant of record.

We offer a 14-day refund policy. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, contact cg-support@clauseguards.com within 14 days of purchase with your analysis ID and we will issue a full refund.

Data Retention

Analyses are retained for up to 48 hours and then automatically deleted. Uploaded files (PDF, DOCX) are processed transiently and are not stored after text extraction is complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClauseGuard's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific analysis in question. ClauseGuard is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated suggestions.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding the service or a payment, please contact us at cg-support@clauseguards.com. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes via email within 14 business days.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of ClauseGuard after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
